The Wildlife and Human Benefits of Land Conservation – Holly Springs

South Wake ConservationistsSouth Wake Conservationists, a chapter of the NC Wildlife Federation, invites the public to their April 13th program featuring Dr. Caitlin Burke, Associate Director, Conservation Trust for North Carolina.

Caitlin joined CTNC in February 2013. Caitlin is a skilled professional in natural resource policy with experience in non-profit management and advocacy. She has a PhD in Forestry from NC State University and a BS in Wildlife Science from Virginia Tech. She has worked with a variety of non-profits including The Wildlife Society, Conservation International, and WakeUP Wake County.

As a member of the Land Protection Team, she manages collaborative grants with numerous land trusts, including the Upper Neuse Clean Water Initiative and the Scenic Byways grant program, and participates in CTNC’s farmland preservation work and land stewardship activities.

Free Public Event – light refreshments. No reservations are required.
